The Heilige Lodewijkkerk stands on the Steenschuur, in the centre of Leiden. Our English-speaking community is a mix of students, people who have moved here for work, and visitors passing through. You are welcome whether you come every week or only once.

The Sunday Mass at 10.00 is the High Mass. It is celebrated in Latin, or in Dutch and Latin in alternate weeks. It is not the English Mass. The full week:

The John Paul II chapel

The chapel next to the church holds a venerated relic of Pope John Paul II. It is open for adoration every week from Friday 14.00 until Saturday 14.00. Between 23.00 and 7.00 you need an access code. If you would like to help by adopting one hour, please email us.
